The Kingdom of God!

 

Chapter 65

Isaiah 59:19 the Lord said,

 

"So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun! When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him."

 

We are all aware of the mess our nation is in and we are in danger of losing control of it to those who want socialism. All who are spiritually in tune with what is happening in the spirit world are aware that Satan is making an all-out effort to gain control of our nation and not only our nation but the whole world. He knows that time is running out on him and he must act quickly. So, he is coming in like a flood and is sweeping many into his deceitful, lying, twisting of the truth agenda.

 

All the while God sits back and laughs at him; however, the Lord is becoming angry at the latest tactics of the evil one against the Church, which is the Body of Christ. The end is not yet in sight but it is coming to a rapid close.

 

If you have discernment and are listing to what the Holy Spirit is saying about our nation you will know that God is not through with this great nation which was set up according to Biblical standards. This nation and the nation of Israel are the two nations that are the standard that the Lord has raised up against the flooding of evil. He knows that if he can defeat these two nations he will succeed in his evil plans.

 

There is a remnant in the Church that number in the millions that are doing spiritual battles with the evil one and declaring what the word of the Lord says. They are speaking with the authority that the Lord has given all who believe and that authority is measured by the power it took for God to raise Jesus from the dead. Paul prayed this prayer in Eph. 1:18-21, (NIV)

 

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come."

 

Also in Eph. 2:4-10, (NIV)

 

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions"it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith; and this is not from yourselves, it is'the gift of God" not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

 

The heavenly realms speak of the spiritual realms where Satan and his group are involved and this is known as the second heaven. We, along with Jesus, have authority in this dimension and have the power to rule because Jesus defeated the devil. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, if we stand up and declare the word of the Lord. Jesus said in Matt. 16:18, (NIV)

 

"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it!"

 

The gates of hell refer to those who are in authority in hell or the spiritual world. John said in 1 John 4:4,

 

"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

 

We need to meditate on these great promises until we begin to exhibit the reality of what the Lord is saying to us. We have fallen into the trap of the devil and have a mistaken identity, or a mistaken image, of who we really are. We have majored in the natural without considering that we are to live by faith and not by what we see. You can read these scriptures and believe them, but until you act according to what they are telling you and stop saying that you are just a sinner saved by grace, they will not have any power for you. If you really believe these scriptures, you will speak as one having authority! You are not a sinner! You are a child of God and even if your flesh sometimes does not act according to the principles of God's word, you have an advocate with the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and all you have to do is repent of those things! It doesn't affect the fact that you are a child of God. The great Apostle John said in 1 John 2:1, (NIV)

 

"But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father; Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."

 

An advocate is a lawyer and if we sin, He will plead our case in the courts of heaven when we repent!

 

I can deny that Kelsie Johnson is my natural father all day long and it will not change the fact that he is my earthly father. It is the same with our heavenly Father! Just because we sometimes fail to live up to His standards doesn't mean that we are no longer His children!

 

If the Lord is willing, for the next few chapters I will write to you about our mistaken identity. For some two thousand years now, the Church has been dwelling in a mistaken idea that we are just human and just a sinner saved by grace. We are just filthy rags and undeserving of the grace of God. We identify with Adam and we write our songs to verify that. We look forward to some day when Jesus returns that we will be changed into His likeness and all will be fine then but for now we just have to make do. All of this is nothing but the lies and deceptions of the devil. 

We need to have the Adamic veil lifted from our eyes. As the apostle Paul prayed so many, many years ago in Eph. 1: 17-20, (NIV) 

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,..." 

And in 2 Cor. 3:12-18 (NIV) Paul wrote, 

"Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

 

We need a revelation of the Holy Spirit within us and we need to discern the difference between the Adamic consciousness and the Christ consciousness. Most of God's people today do not realize that the human ego, the carnal consciousness, needs to be totally consumed by Christ. Christ is our true identity, not the human consciousness. The Adamic consciousness is what keeps us bound and limited. The carnal consciousness knows that it cannot possibly live as Jesus lived on the earth. The human consciousness cannot possibly multiply the loaves and fishes. Yet because we do not realize that we are living by a mistaken identity, we keep trying to perfect the Adamic consciousness in us.  

Because of our false identity, we feel condemned, because we cannot do that which we know deep inside of us (our Christ consciousness) we should be able to do. When your eyes are opened to see that Christ is your true identity, then you will begin to realize that all the struggling you have done in Adam is to no avail. You then can focus your attention on the reality of the law of the Spirit of Life within you. This Law of the Spirit of Life is much more than head knowledge. I knew for years that Christ was in me and the Law of His Life freed me from the Law of Sin and Death, but I had very little experience living in it and no one to teach me how.

I came to a point in my life where I was going to give up trying to live the Christian life because I realize that in and of myself that I could not do it. I went to the Lord and told Him that I wanted to know Him and to know that He was real, not just what I have been taught. He began to open doors up for me to meet the people that I needed to meet who were filled with His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit began to open my mind up to spiritual things and because I was willing to give up all that I had been taught which was not the truth about Him, He filled me with His Spirit.

 

The Bible became alive to me and I learned things that I had never seen before. It opened a whole new world for me and I have never been the same since. I can see very clearly where the Lord has led me all my life. I now know that the Lord had a plan for my life and how He opened doors for me and led me through them because I was willing to totally trust Him.

 

You can know this also without a doubt if you are willing to make a resolute decision to first of all have a personal relationship with Jesus and absolutely allow your mind to be renewed by the Holy Spirit. What I will show you in the next few weeks will open up the Bible to you and you will come to understand the spiritual meaning of what is being said. Your life will forever be changed.
